At Prodikt, we empower the construction industry to build more sustainably by making environmental product data accessible, actionable, and comparable.
Founded in 2020 under the name CarbonZero, our company began as a response to a clear problem: professionals across the building industry wanted to lower their environmental impact, but the data they needed was hard to find, interpret, or use effectively.
To meet that need, we developed Prodikt, a digital sustainability platform that connects continuously updated environmental data with verified information from building product manufacturers. What started as a smart material database has since evolved into a full-featured project management tool, helping planners and project managers track and reduce carbon emissions from the earliest design stages - from the smallest brick to the completed building.
In 2023, CarbonZero joined forces with BIMobject AB, a global leader in digital product content for the construction industry. As part of the Bim.com ecosystem, Prodikt now works alongside EandoX, a platform designed to simplify and streamline the creation and publishing of Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for manufacturers, and Index, a data service that, in collaboration with distributors, leverages Prodikt’s database to provide transparent environmental insights for the industry.
