Prodikt and CCBuild have launched a collaboration: reused products listed on CCBuild’s marketplace are now also available on the sustainability platform Prodikt. In practice, this means that listings on CCBuild’s marketplace gain wider reach and visibility to more stakeholders. The collaboration is expected to accelerate circular construction and reuse.

When the products from CCBuild’s marketplace become available in Prodikt, each one gets its own product card with specific sustainability data. Prodikt also links the product’s geographical location to the actual construction project to calculate the climate impact from transport.
The partnership is expected to result in simplified workflows, faster assessments of alternative design solutions and a clearer picture of the benefits – both circular and climate-related – of reuse.
“This collaboration means that together we are taking further steps towards large-scale reuse. By connecting the platforms, we increase both the availability of and demand for circular products,” says CCBuild coordinator Carina Loh Lindholm.
In Prodikt, users can now work actively with reuse – from early estimates of climate and resource savings to actual product choices. In the project analysis in Prodikt, it then becomes easy and transparent to see the potential savings that the project team has achieved thanks to CCBuild’s products.

Carbonzero AB provides the digital platform Prodikt – www.prodikt.com – where construction projects can be analysed easily, from product selection through to operation. In collaboration with manufacturers, product data is made accessible and comparable across many different parameters. Prodikt does not rate or rank the products; the choice is made by, for example, the architect, purchaser or developer. The majority owner of the company is BIMobject AB.
CCBuild – Centre for Circular Construction (CCBuild) is a hub where industry stakeholders meet and collaborate around reuse and circular material flows in construction, demolition and property management. The arena offers networks, knowledge and digital services that strengthen the market for circular products and services in the construction and real estate sector.
